Day 1 - Cochin (Arrival)
Upon arrival at the Cochin International airport/railway station, you will be greeted by our representatives and have an assisted transfer to the hotel for checkin. Relax for a while and refresh yourself in your comfortable room. After having lunch, embark on a sightseeing tour of Cochin which includes Jewish Synagogue also referred to as the Paradesi Synagogue - it is the oldest existing Synagogue among the commonwealth countries and beautiful interior decoration with Chinese tiles and Belgian chandeliers. Next ahead towards St. Francis Church- is one of the most distinguished monuments and the oldest European churches in Cochin, Dutch Palace- is a Portuguese Palace popularly known as the Mattancherry Palace and later visit Chinese Fishing Nets casually known as Cheena Vala for the locals, have attracted visitors in this area for centuries. Later, return to the hotel. Relax with an overnight stay at Cochin.
Day 2 - Cochin - Munnar
On this second day of 5 nights 6 days Kerala tour package, after the refreshing breakfast, start your drive towards captivating Munnar through the picture-perfect backdrops and verdant tea estates, enjoy the mesmerising views of the Cardamom hills. On the way delight by the scenic beauty, grandiose waterfalls, massive mountains with the low flying clouds passing by. Upon arrival at Munnar, check in to the hotel/resort to relax. Enjoy your evening at your leisure or your activity. You can also go for some trekking around the place. Enjoy your lavish dinner and overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 3 - Munnar
After a filling breakfast, get ready to leave for a full day sightseeing tour of Munnar. By this morning visit on a trip to Munnar and praise the natural beauty of Munnar. The places you will visit the Eravikulam National Park- it is Kerala’s first national park and the home and sanctuary of the Nilgiri Tahr. Next, pay a visit to Old Munnar town- it is also a place known for spices, explore the beauty of extensive Mattupetty Dam, Kundala Lake- is a picturesque place and Asia’s first arch dam. The next attraction is the Echo point- it is encircled by misty clouds, fertile pastures, huge hills and dense forests along the bank of the Kundala Lake. Dairy Farms and other tourist attractions. There is an opportunity to enjoy boating on the Kundala Lake. Also, you can explore the local markets of Munnar for a little souvenir hunting. Later, return to the hotel and relax. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. With joyful mood spend your night at the hotel. Overnight stay is arranged at Munnar.
Day 4 - Munnar - Thekkady-
Get up early to enjoy the sunrise and tasty breakfast. Later, check out from the hotel and drive towards Periyar National Park in Thekkady. On arrival check in to the pre-booked hotel. Continue for the sightseeing tour of Thekkady- a luxuriant paradise perfect for unwinding. One of the world's most mesmerizing wildlife reserves. The Periyar wildlife sanctuary in Thekkady is spread across 777 sq. km in which half of covered with dense evergreen forest. The nature preserve was declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978. In the evening, relish a boat cruise on the Periyar Lake and see the huge diversity of wildlife species that dwell in this national park. Also catching a glance of sporadic varieties of birds while enjoying a jungle safari in the Periyar National Park. Optional activities like Spice Plantation visit and Elephant Ride can be done at an extra cost. After wildlife sightseeing, return to the hotel for a night stay. As the third day of your 5 nights 6 days Kerala tour itinerary ends with overnight stay at Thekkady.
Day 5 - Kumarakom
After a refreshing breakfast, check out from the hotel and leave via road to Kumarakom. Cherish the natural beauty on the way and marvel at the plush green backgrounds. Once you reach Kumarakom, check in to the hotel and spend the rest of the day in leisure. In the afternoon, proceeds for local sightseeing tour in and around Kumarakom - a tiny boondocks hamlet balanced on the western banks of the Vembanad Lake. The elasticity of backwater is spread over 900 sq. km. Choose a motorboat or a houseboat to admire the beauty of this backwater. Later, return to the hotel for an overnight stay is arranged in Kumarakom.
Day 6 - Kumarakom (Departure)
On the final day, enjoy the delicious breakfast, pack your baggage and check out from the hotel with a promise to return once again to this Paradise. Later, start driving to Cochin and proceed on time to Airport/ railway station to board your flight/train back home with sweet memories.
